Seated Exercise FAQs
Q. What should I wear?A. Something that allows you to move comfortably. Layers are a good idea as you can remove them once you get warmed up.
Q. Do I need trainers?A. If you have them, but comfortable flat shoes will do.
Q. Do I need to bring equipment?A. Exercise bands will be provided. It is advisable to bring a water bottle, especially in the warmer months.
Q. What about if I can’t keep up or get out of breath? A. Go at your own pace. Take rests when you need them and join back in when you are ready. Everyone’s abilities are different and it is not a competition.
Q. I have a bad back/knee/shoulders?A. When you attend the first session you will be given an assessment questionnaire to complete. Please make the instructor aware of any aliments so they can guide you to appropriate exercises.
You should always seek your GP’s advice before taking up exercise.
Q. Is it very serious. Will there be shouting?A. The instructors are incredibly friendly & approachable who want you to enjoy coming to the sessions. They are as much about having fun as they are about keeping fit.
